Looking for the easiest way to get started with BookOnPublish? This is it! Just follow the steps below to learn how to create your own BookOnPublish projects.

  3. Try the same product packaged as a downloadable BookOnPublish project.

Get Set! Try the sample project.

  1. 1.Download and install BookOnPublish or BookOnPublish Educational Version.

  2. 2.Use the sample files to Create Your First BookOnPublish Project. The sample files include a PDF file and media elements so you can get started right away.

  3. 3.If you want more practice, download and practice with the Curling Sample.

  4. Go! Create your own project from scratch.

  5. 1.Use a word processor or desktop publishing program, such as Microsoft Publish, to create a document. Your first document should include at least three 8.5 x 11” pages.

  6. 2.Save, output, or print that document as a PDF file.

  7. 3.Start BookOnPublish, then click Create a Project.

  8. 4.Click Browse PDFs, then select your PDF file.

  9. 5.Click Browse Projects and select or create an empty project folder.

  10. 6.Type whatever you wish as the author password.

  11. 7.Click Create Project, then click OK after the project has been created.

  12. 8.To enter HotLink mode, click the HotLink button on the navigation bar.

  13. 9.To create a HotLink, press and hold the left mouse button while you draw a rectangle over any part of the page. When you release the mouse button, select the HotLink action.

  14. 10.When you’re finished, close BookOnReader, then close BookOnPublish.
